What are the UFM Rules?
SSC CGL & CHSL UFM is a set of rules that if a candidate is found using unfair means in the examination he/she will be disqualified from the exam. Here are some points to remember-
- Candidates should avoid writing anything which can be considered as personal identity. SSC UFM rule states, any candidate who uses imaginary or real names in the answer sheet will be disqualified. Candidates are strictly advised not to write any personal identity (real or imaginary) e.g. Name, Roll No., Mobile No., Address, etc. (other than the name and address given in the question) inside the Answer sheet. Otherwise their Answer sheet will not be evaluated and they shall be awarded zero marks.
- Revealing identity is strictly prohibited in the exams conducted by the SSC. In the case the candidate does so, only zero marks will be awarded to the candidate.
- If candidates are given specific instruction he/she needs to follow it. Including any extra information and not sticking to the format will lead them to disqualification or zero marks.
- Candidates must not write anything extra on the answer sheet other than what is mentioned in the general instruction of the exam. If by mistake a candidate writes his/her name anywhere on the answer sheet or by mistake you sign at the invigilator’s column, then it will be considered as UFM and the answer sheet will not be evaluated.
- Some candidates put stray marks and do rough work on the backside of the sheet. Such things are strictly prohibited and can even result in the loss of marks as it also comes under UFM.
- If a candidate forgets filling the important things such as Roll no., sign, left thumb impression also comes under UFM.
- While writing an essay or letter, if candidates cross the word limit of the letter by 10%, it can lead to loss of marks. However, candidates might not be disqualified.
- Candidates must write one word in one block as per the instruction given. Not following the guidelines can lead to the loss marks in the exam. However, such mistakes does not lead to disqualification.
Please read the general instructions carefully so that you must keep yourself from commiting such mistakes that might cost you your future.
All the best.
